Hello, I have been on 3 units for awhile now and would like some advice on what I should do now. I gave him a late shot tonight, around 45 minutes. Should I increase or stay or what should I do?
 
I have to go back and read some of your history.
Would it be at all possible to get a +2 occasionally in the morning cycle?

we tend to see the ss like a jigsaw puzzle and you have quite a few unknowns.....
it's likely time to go up.... but if there were a bit more filled in..... it's be easier to say.

meanwhile.... bumping you up so others might catch it.....
 
Without adjusting his dosing time significantly it would be impossible for a am+2, doing so would also greatly affect my own schedule at night.
 
the reason for the +2 is that often when it is significantly lower than the pre-shot test, it can indicate an active cycle where you might want to set
an alarm and check again for lower numbers. Most kitties go lower at night ( inconvenient, I know) and you did have a green not that far back.
If he were still doing that every other day, you would hold the dose where if he is not seeing any more green, it is time to increase.

I would be inclined to go up to 3.25 now as you haven't seen a green in days.
 
I'd decide whether or not to get a +4/6 based upon comparing the pmps tonight with the +2. If the +2 is lower than preshot, then I'd get another test in before going to bed.

I'm a little confused by the ss - it's through the 24th, but it looks like maybe you haven't given a dose increase yet? Is that right? If you can take a minute and update the ss with the past 2 days that'll be helpful.
