6/24 A Binksy and Clan Update- We got lost for awhile :(

I couldn't be more moved by the loving and concerned posts, emails, private messages, and phone messages.
You folks just know exactly how to touch a heart, and we love you very much.

Most importantly, Binks, the Tortie Girls, myself, and Tamara are all well.
Tested Binks this morning and he threw a lovely 66.
The Unamommer has had a rough month dealing with sciatica, but is doing a bit better.

Three weeks ago I lost my best friend to cancer, and simply got lost in grief...which led to our absence on the forum.
I buried myself in work and in hiding with the kitties and their snuggly brand of comfort-and rarely even fired up the laptop.
But the caring and concerned emails and phone messages you guys sent really resonated-
especially a lovely remark from Checkers and his momma that said
"if all is NOT well with you, lean on us for support".
Barb, thank you.

And the phone message from little Miss Gracie was especially charming!

I'm still quite emotional, so will simply say this- we love you all, and are deeply moved by your caring.
I am so far behind on all the events and news, but hear that Simon went OTJ...congratulations, buddy!

Will sign off for now, but rest assured, we missed y'all...
and we're back in touch :smile:

Awwww, I'm so sorry you've been so down!
And I'm glad you are ok although grieving. Cats do have a special way of comforting.
This is true...the Simonator is OTJ! You owe me a LOL on his party condo :lol:
P.s. we DO want to know about Mr. X!
 
Celi, we've missed you so much!

I'm so sorry for your loss of your best friend and also for what you've been suffering with the sciatica. I understand completely how sometimes you just need to be alone with your grief and your fur kids & don't want to talk about it. We were starting to worry about our Celi though. I hope the sciatica is a little better now. I'm so glad you're back among us.

sorry to hear you've had a rough time lately. 2012 is proving to be a helluva year for a lot of us. Glad you are back though, and that you and your kitty clan are all well. We missed you!

So glad to hear from you Celi! I healed my scistica by doing yoga stretch & massage. It did take some time but slowly got better & better.
Take your time but come back soon!
 
(((Celi))) Cyber hugs may not be quite as good as kitty hugs, but you know we are all glad to hear from you. So sorry to hear about your loss and totally understand the desire to cuddle up with your furry ones. :YMHUG:

Know what you are going through my dear Celi--Lost my Dear Auntie 3 weeks ago & feel very lost--Sorry about your friend. It is very overwhelming...
But then Life does Go ON..Even as heart wrenching as that may be..
But just Know you have a CIRCLE OF FRIENDS here that Love & Care about you more than you know!!!

I'm glad your mom's sciatica is letting up.
As one who had to roll off the couch, and crawl to a sturdy table to pull myself up, years ago, . I truly understand the pain involved.

Celi, so sorry for the loss of your best friend. I truly hate the C word, it took so many loved ones from me, and my family. I'm dealing with sciatica now also, it's a real mess.

So nice to hear from you and know you and your family are ok.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Sometimes we like our friends more than our family and it's very hard to lose them. I'm glad to know your okay physically, though your heart is hurt. I'll be thinking of you!!

Glad Binks is keeping his love affair with the color green going!!
 
So sorry you have lost your friend, so glad you have your kitty clan to comfort you. Wish I could say something to make it all better :sad:

I'm so sorry you lost your DF to cancer - losing our 'family' is so hard on our hearts. I buried my little brother yesterday, I buried my HarleyBoy drooler last Tuesday. Right now I'm still lost and wanting to crawl in a hole too. If we can help with ANYTHING, PLEASE let us know.

Celi I am so sorry. You were meant to be friends and she must have been very special to be your best friend. I'm sending you big hugs. Our cats I think know when we are grieving and hopefully they are working hard on refilling your heart.
