WCR: Most Ps in place. She's definitely ready to go back to her own home...as am I...my own bed and chiropractor. I got lots of snuggles last night and this morning, but I don't think she's feeling great today. I added a little pumpkin to her breffis (never given her pumpkin before) and she scarfed down her breffis. So, I tried adding some pumpkin to her FF Turkey & Gibs and she barely touched it. Weirdo!

OT: We took my sister's kittens to the vet this morning because they are still both very runny in the poo department and little girl is lethargic and not eating well this morning. We took in a "stool" sample from Teddy and after floating it and checking it, he detected trace amounts of parasites (coccidial infection of the intestines). So, they both got a mouthful of Marquis Equine Paste and they'll get .5cc Albon (antibiotic) for seven days. So, hopefully this will clear up the runs and make then feel better. I did have to bite my tongue when he said there was no difference when feeding dry or wet food. Either was perfectly fine to feed. UGH! My sister is now armed with great information...she knows better.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Your sister's kitties are lucky to have such a knowledgeable aunt to protect them from a vet that clearly is not up on the latest info! I'm glad they found the problem are working on fixing it.

Shasta, it's awful to feel out of sorts when you're away from home, isn't it? Just keep snuggling with Mama and you'll be better soon.

Sending lots of vines.

You'll be home soon, Shasta. Honest.

Kitties will be all firmed up soon, too. Not at all unusual for kitties to carry something with them to their new homes. So glad you're there to help out.
