Morning ~O) ~O) a nice blue on the AT to start, and a 133 on the Relion Confirm. Every once in a while I like to compare the two meters. All is well in Maggie Land today, and I didn't hear too much chatter in the middle of the night. When I got up, lots of chatter asking to eat and eat now, not wait! :sad: Getting up so early to test, shoot and feed, I find I'm not able to stay awake as I used to, so I had a nice, long btb with Mags this morning. When I get up, Maggie takes over my bed. Sometimes I can't get it made til the end of the day. :lol: ( just don't have the heart to disturb her. I still need more coffee. I think it's a stay home day, rest and catch up with things, laundry, too, ugh, a challenge with the LR. I'll get a nice walk in early before the heat. Wishing everyone a nice day.

My Elsa does the same thing - takes over the bed after I am up. I have gotten very good at dealing with the bed making and her still in it. Funny - she puts up with it and continues her stake-out.

Enjoy that stay at home day, the catch up. It will be the same here, and I hope by days end all is done, so tomorrow I can play, kitty be willing. Have a good one - I hope you can get out for a walk. :cool:

Looks like Maggie is coming down nicely:) I hear ya on the going back to bed business as I have been feeling the same way the last few weekends:) I cherish those Saturday and Sunday morning cuddles. You're so sweet for putting the bed making duites aside so as not to distrub her beauty sleep.

Thanks Michelle for the extra ~O) ~O) for which I'm grateful! So funny with making the bed while Elsa is in it! :lol: I should try it with Mags!

Hi Tamara, thanks it is a nice slide for Mags and a later Nadir than usual. She kept chatting and finally it dawned on me to check her and give food. I've been doing laundry and running into neighbors I haven't seen in a while, so Mags had to knock me over the head to get her needs met.

A really nice day for Maggie. And I hope you got in your walk, Ann. I answered your comment about the Monojects in Rusty's condo, but here it is again:

It's not the lines that are the problem with the MJs. The lines are usually very good. The problem is that the base of the needle (in these recent lots) does not come all the way down to the zero line. Because of this, insulin gets above the zero line, resulting in a larger dose than intended. Since you measure Maggie's dose by counting drops, this would not be a problem for you.

Oh thanks for explaining Ella. That is really a bummer! Yes, with counting drops it's not a problem. I'm glad you have the calipers as a helping tool. Thanks, I did get in an early walk, and it's a nice day with temps in the low 70's.

Surprise, I almost was going to give Mags a night off with the 195, but glad I caught the 95! Interesting with the variance with a lower number.

Thanks Barb & Checkers, Melissa, and Barb & Daphne for the visits. It was a nice day here, and Mags made a nice cuddle buddy as I spent most of the morning sleeping. :lol: Melissa, on kicking the kitlets out of bed so you can make the bed!

I also had a lazy day. I took a book in the backyard in the sun but fell asleep before I read much. :lol:

I have the cat in the bed problem solved - I just never make it :lol: :lol: :lol:

He does like to jump on there and get under the sheets as soon as I try to put new ones on though. He then proceeds to play under them pouncing at me as I try to tuck them in :lol: Many a time I have tucked the sheets in with the furry lump under them but it has never put him off...
