He finished out last night with a 120 +3 and a 356 +10. We're trying to get a lot of yard work done before hubby's knee surgery tomorrow, so I probably won't get many tests in today.

Re: 6/23 Chuck 398 AMPS

Get that yard work done before hubby can't help you due to his recovery from the surgery.

Wishing successful surgery vines for your hubby.

Re: 6/23 Chuck 398 AMPS

Unfortunately, hubby is on call for work, and just got called out. I'm headed out to do some clean-up, but what we had planned isn't going to happen today...

Re: 6/23 Chuck 398 AMPS; 188 +8.5; 327 +10

He had a nice blue +8.5, but is headed back up (nearly back to AMPS) at +10... Hubby is still out on the call; I did some cleanup work in the yard, but didn't move forward with the stuff we wanted to get done. It's currently 91 but feel like 97 (unless you're outside, then it feels much hotter), so I'm back inside doing stuff...

Re: 6/23 Chuck 424 PMPS

Back out after preshot to do some more yard work. Disappointed in the PMPS -- I was hoping he'd continue the 300's preshot -- he hadn't had a 400+ preshot since the 21st...

Re: 6/23 Chuck 424 PMPS

I'm kind of surprised by the spike at the end. That's 100 points in 2 hours, could he have gotten into any carbs, anything stressfull happen?

But the pink Ps's are still taking over the reds.

Good luck with DH's surgery tomorrow.

Re: 6/23 Chuck 424 PMPS

Since I was outside, it's entirely possible that Bouncer decided Chuck should be his horsie again, and rode him down the hallway. Or decided Chuck would make a good wrestling partner (although an unwilling one) and did a take-down or two on him. No chance of carbs or any treats -- those are secured in a closed door pantry (unless Bouncer really does have opposable thumbs and gets into it!).

Re: 6/23 Chuck 424 PMPS

We are all in trouble if they develop opposable thumbs  .

The only other explination would be if he hit a green earlier in the cycle, or it could have been a fluke test.

I think you need to keep the pressure on him dose wise when you will be able to test through the cycle so you can continue making progress.

I've been changing the dose based on his preshot number -- over 400, he gets 1.2 U; over 300, 1 U; over 200, .6U. Should I keep going with that or just tough out the drops and keep him on 1.2 U? I'll test and shoot before we leave early-early-early tomorrow morning (we have to be there at 5:30 and it's an hour drive), but won't be able to test again until we're home -- probably around noonish...

If you want a sliding scale I'd be glad to work one up for you tomorrow. Yours might be just right because you have been doing so well.

Good luck tomorrow, my aunt has had both knees replaced and now has a new lease on life.
