And what to say about yesterday... oh! I remember now! Back to back dive cycles, and how could I forget? That was fun. He had a very nice, but very late green cycle the night before, which he carried forward into yesterday morning's cycle, and dove once again. That was as much of a challenge as the night before, as I had to be in and out to get Nicholas. It was god to see him settle into a mid blue surf, rather than the green one in the 50's the night before. Never a dull moment with the Nanner King. Lubs ya big guy, but a little less stress on the bean, OK? cat_pet_icon
All is well in MannieLand.
The Nanner King has been very busy with the nanners - especially after a few nights of many pokies. It seems to be his version of Linus's security blanket, and is where I have found him of late. There and in the planter box.  Those nanners have been hugged and cuddled and rearranged and moved and moved again many many times during the past few days. DGS made sure that Mannie was taking proper care. He came to inspect when Mannie was sleeping on top of them.
That was cute: he knelt down to be on eye level with the Nanner King. one eye popped open, then back to sleep: as if to say" "ahhh,... it's you. All is still ok". Today, once again, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and again at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone! I am still on DGS duty today. Swimming this morning, and then outdoors for sure. We are supposed to have a very sunny nice day, so we will be out: river, stream, creek, lake - anywhere that has water. well duh.  I will try and visit condos when I can - it is just very hard when he is here. Take care all - I will be thinking of you, and you furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!!
Hey everybody! I think it's time we went sailing.... it's been way too long... what'dya say? We can grill and stuff and fish off the bow, or is it the stern, i dunno.... You guys in? Maybe we can find a spot to have a picnic or sumthin'.... Let me know - I am ready for anything! You guys got sumthin' you wanna do? ~ Mannie
And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS's and my adventure yesterday: redmond park and the Sammamish River. We really had a good time. I've included the Facebook link too for the videos and the full albums: Nicholas at the Sammamish River: Redmond Park
