AMPS 312

There's food in that AMPS, probably even mc gravy food but this morning, I can't seem to get my brain to work. I'm going to have to leave him most of the day so I shortened his dose by about 3 drops and will leave out mc....don't know what else to do at this point.

For those that didn't see our post yesterday, my little brother was found dead yesterday morning. We still don't know anything more than yesterday. We're leaving shortly to go over to my parents and over to my brother's to get clothes for him and be sure everything is locked up and protected. THIS SUCKS! It's just NOT fair but I'm reminded often that life isn't fair....I'm not sure it's sunk in yet that he's gone. I'm finding myself closing in and wanting to just curl up in the corner and let the world go by without me for a while....'course I won't DO that, too many lives depend on me.

Lyresa, I'm sending you more hugs and warm thoughts. This must be so difficult for you and your family, I'm so sorry and it is understandable that you wish you could curl up and hide under the covers. Some time in the near future you should take a few hours and do just that. Even the strongest person needs quiet time to gather up her strength. It's ok to cry.

We all wish we could be there to give you hugs in person. Yes, you need to take time for yourself too. You cannot be strong for others if you do not take care of yourself.

We now know as best anyone ever will what happened to my little brother....a horrible, terrible accident. He was at his friends home alone and evidently decided to move some stuff stored upstairs down where it belonged...he and his friend have been painting the kitchen. He was carrying a microwave downstairs. The evidently cord caught around the newel post, he slipped, the cord wrapped around his neck with the microwave's weight falling over the side. His friend found him the next morning when he came in from work. I'm really concerned now about his friend who believes it's his fault and is not a strong person. Please include Tony in prayers too....my parents are doing OK so far but we've not seen him yet, that will be our downfall.

This doesn't make it any easier but at least we know.....

I'm still in shock I think. Couldn't get in the house yet as keys are still at friends house, we'll have them this evening.

Oh Lyresa! Such a terrible freak accident! I'm so sorry! Hang in there. It might not be a bad idea to lie down now and just think of you while you can since you can't go to his apt anyway now. I'll be thinking of you and your family and here if you want to talk.
