6/22 Ann & Maggie AMPS 91; +2 89; +7 126; PMPS 121

Well, I'm wondering about something...at +9 she was 113 and now this green AMPS of 91. It would seem she should be higher at the end, or am I still half asleep? She's very hungry, so this indicates she's low! I don't know if I'm making sense.

Some cats will "double dip" - you get a higher reading toward the end of the cycle and then the PS number is lower. By any chance, did you feed before +10? If so, the food can stimulate the pancreas and a couple of hours later, the numbers are lower. Regardless of why, it's a very nice AMPS (and you might want to correct the typo in your Subject line!).

Did she snack around +9 this morning? A little snack around then helps or maybe Maggie is up to something....hmmmm :-D

Thanks, made the correction. No, I did not feed before the +9, although there was some wet food left overnight for her, and she had a few bites, but I don't know what time!

Hi Ronnie,
Yes, after the +9 she had some Beechnut beef and broth bf and then some Chopped Grill Sophisticat. The food was right after the +9, so there was a two hour gap before the AMPS.

I wonder if I should leave out some HC for Maggie. She is 89 at +2, and I will be gone 2-3 hours fairly soon. Maybe i can catch an 80 at her Nadir and do a dosecrease!

I gave her two Whisker Lickins Salmon kibbles before I left; you wouldn't think it would raise the bg that much? Still doing good.

Kasha had a mysterious rise in BG too - maybe not so mysterious since I left her out some 9% yummy foods. But I wonder if Maggie dropped a little low while you were gone? Can't wait to see her PMPS...

Yes, I probably missed her low. She's been eating, so I bet her PMPS will be a little high. Yes, I wonder if the yummy foods caused a rise in Kasha!
 
When I think about the fact that your numbers look so good AND you're testing with the Alpha Trak, well - those are even more amazing numbers there, Maggie girl!!! Way to go!

Aws thanks! Maggie thinks Blue is one good looking kitty and can't wait to hear how he does once he can come out of the cage, which shouldn't be too long according to his progress.
