Ah......... yesterday............ :roll: :roll: Mannie took the day off yesterday, and let Mr. Liver call the shots. What wonderful shades of pink and yellow! It was nice to see that by mid cycle last night he decided it was time to get back to work. We had a nice 135, followed by a 156 for this mornings amps. Good job Mannie. :cool: :razz: What a great recovery! cat_pet_icon

The kitty wake-up choir did not show this morning. :shock: Only BJ, who was bellowing at the top her her lungs at the top of the stairs. :roll: Elsa and Mannie had apparently tired of her serenade and were waiting by the slider checking out the morning sunrise. We had a good test feed shoot this morning: all greeted with purrs that could break the sound barrier. BJ continues to watch when Mannie is tested. She sits within inches of him. Little miss mother hen, making sure he is ok, making sure I don't screw up and hurt him. It's really kinda cute - she never misses a poke. Breffis was consumed with gusto, Clean Plate Club status still intact. And the nanners: normalcy: checked, hugged,napped on. All is well in MannieLand. :cool: :cool: :razz:

Have a great day everyone! It is a sunny day this morning, we are supposed to hit 72, with lots of sunshine - YAY! I hope they are right, I am off shortly for a shoreline walk, and then later on this afternoon to DT Seattle to see friends for coffee. Should be fun!

My friends!! What a day yesterday! Cooking class went well at Rusty's! You guys turned out some mean catmint parfaits. YUM! Tess: Yes, you can do it - our new Pastry Chef! :cool: :cool: Hey - what do you guys wanna do today? Fun in the sun - a pool or beach somewhere? maybe we should go and check out Willie's new digs? or maybe some dune buggys in the desert, or sand sliding? or or or??? Well, nice of Mannie to take the morning off yesterday... :roll: ...sheesh....at least you know his liver is functioning quite nicely! Great recovery for PM cycle. Mannie, you rock! \M/

Hey Mannie....wanna get the bus, gather up all the kitties? We can hang at the pool....and have a little bbq to welcome Summer! My bean said she would even make us fresh ice cream - whatever flavor we wanted with NO sugar...so it will be safe for us. ~Zoe

Hi Sherry - oh yes on yesterday. it's part of this pattern that has been emerging now for a while - a couple of really great days, followed by one of the higher stuff. resting days as I jokingly call them. sheshhhh! :roll: and yeah on the liver.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mannie is looking great today!! It is so gratifying to see your boy bouncing back from high numbers so much more quickly! He is making remarkable progress, Michelle... even if he is still in LTS!! Hope you guys are having a great day!!

I see a double stroller with a cat side and a baby side (or maybe a tandem stroller with cat in front, to spot the interesting things to point out to the DGS).

Awww what a cute mother hen, watching you and Mannie to make sure you don't screw up. Do you ever test BJ so she knows what it feels like?

The kitty stroller, i was thinking about it yesterday, after i took Leo out for a drive, seeing all the puppy dogs walking with their owners, thinking it would be so nice to be able to go for a walk with him. I don't remember who wrote the camping with kitties story, but she had said she had her kitty in a stroller while camping.....so cute!!

Hope Mannie and the gang have fun today eating diabetic friendly ice cream!

Funnt thing Mooie has gotten so much more talkative since Copper is gone...She actually yells at me with an ERRRROWWWWWWW!!!! when she wants me for something!! They are hilarious--Hugs & lubs from us!

Mannie my bean isnt acting right so i'm gonna stay wif her today--K? I want to go to the cooking clkass too, or swim, fish surf whatever--Tomorrow??? Lubs & Hugs from us!!! :mrgreen:

That's very cute about BJ....she needs to reassure Mannie that it's ok to be tested and she will be there for him. I'd love to hear all those purr motors at once!!

What I wouldn't give for a high of 72!!!! It's supposed to get to 108 by Thursday so it's a good thing I spend most of the time inside!!

It's good to see Mannie not only getting down to the first floor, but having such a wonderful flat day!!!

I hope you enjoy that walk and the fresh air. I'll be there with you in spirit!! :-D

So Ella's description of cat and baby in stroller sent me to the internet looking for images....the only one I could find that might be semi-appropriate is this one I snagged.....But no dress for Mr. Mannie, k?

The 70's sound delightful. We've had record temps so far this summer....every day is almost 100.

Bear Man had a stroller. It was big - lots of room for friends and family, but maybe a bit too big for hiking.

Hi Linda - I remember the stroller you have for Bear Man. I always thought that was kinda cool - you could take him out for strolls, yard visits etc. I have this visual image: Mannie and DGS riding in something like that. I wonder how that would go over. :-D
