6/21 I believe he was a little constipated again, but resolved in afternoon .

Kinda flat day I have been suspecting he is dropping lower at +8 so checked then today too.

I think I am going to take him in to vet this week or early next week, he didn't get his vacs last time he was there because so much else was being done with xrays, blood work, etc. I don't like to get vacs for any of my cats, but living in FL you never know when a hurricane may come through in summer and if emergency boarding or we have to evacuate to a shelter, they have to be up to date. He probably needs his eye pressure checked again, and I just want her to see how she thinks hes doing, weight, etc. I am going to discuss him having a dental and going for acupuncture for mobility.

Where I live in NC gets a lot of hurricanes also--ugh! The season isn't far away.
 
Why does Henry have to get his eye pressure checked? And how in the world do they do that?
 
Henry has Glaucoma and has to have his eye pressure checked every few months.
Its real weird, the have this little machine that has stuff that shoots out like silly string and lightly touches the eye surface and it automatically measures his pressure.
We found out he had glaucoma about 9 months before he was diagnosed with diabetes. His pressure was very high at that time in both eyes. He uses one eye drop 3x a day and one once daily. One is expensive, over 100.00 for a month. At the time we found out he had glaucoma, he had blood work and was not diabetic. But I think later thats why his pressure was so hard to control. Glaucoma development goes along with diabetes at least in humans, my grandpa had it bad in both eyes and he was an uncontrolled insulin dependent diabetic.
 
Interesting about the glaucoma! never heard of that!
that must be so hard for him, eye drops and shots every day!
