thanks Elise for looking in on us. Very hot/windy in northern [bay area] California today. Hope OK for you down Southern California. Actually I don’t think now that Cali does have UTI. I am probably just helicopter mom. I realized that I give her 12+ ounces of water per day added each time to her food plus real bites treat crumbled into water. This was probably just an unusual accident trying to get to her kitty box. She did do this occasionally before diagnosis, it didn’t even smell like cat urine, almost as if she had no control. After that AM incident, the next urine was regular and no ketones.

Cali surfed blue all day and was ready for food tonight.
The lethargy today was heat, and barometric. House does not have AC so we were all looking for cool.
 
I think I may wait and do nighttime test at +5 or +6 to see if she actually goes lower, but I doubt she will jump yellow to green. Always seems to take a while to settle into a dose [even when potential partial fur shot]. Good strategy? Snacks of course.
 
This is the 7th cycle after the PFS. The depot might have rebuilt by now. You might get a repeat of 6/17 where she drops to mid to low blues in the first half of the cycle and then maybe green later. You could get a test before bed and then set an alarm for one around +7 if she is considerably lower in the before-bed test.
