Well, it's one of THOSE mornings, and we haven't had grr_red in several cycles. Looks like a bounce off the low number yesterday and/or the string of lovely cycles of blue & green for the past few days. We shot the shaved reduction last night, and I was a little concerned I missed some of the shot, so it may take several cycles to get the big guy back on track. His appy has been good the past several cycles. Paws crossed the new reduction holds.

Night duty bean took advantage of the rising numbers last night for an earlier than usual bedtime, and looks like the big guy gets a bit of a poke break today. At least, the numbers are heading in a better direction! :smile: Despite the BLECH numbers, he did yard patrol, is eating well and seems to be feeling OK. :razz:

Liz had her visit with the endodontist this morning about her toothache in her tooth with a crown. Liz thought the endodontist was very thorough, knowledgeable and was pleased with how well he explained things to her. The root canal is tomorrow morning at 10am, so no long wait and hopefully sweet relief. She says she is 70% back to normal from the food poisoning, today is one week since onset. The doc said it would take 2 weeks for full recovery, but of course, we always think we will recover more quickly! :lol:

We are thinking of sweet drooler Harley as he begins his life at the Bridge, and sending heaps of hugs and comfort to Lyresa and her family as they grieve and adjust to the absence of Harley.

Hi guys .. ok zener .. I'm closing my eyes and mocha's eyes and twix's eyes so no one here right now can see these numbers .. it's like they'll never have happened! We can get back on track tomorrow, what do you say? I'm glad there is some relief in Liz's future and hopes the root canal goes smooth without any complications and I hope she is back to 100% from everything before she knows it! have a great day!

Hi Anne, sorry about the bouncey! I guess it's a poke break and also for you to maybe do something today. Glad Zener's appy is good and also good yard and poo patrol! :lol: Great with Liz getting the tooth taken care of tomorrow. Sending good dental vines and glad Liz is 70% and each day feeling better! I hope it is a quicker recovery, too. Have a nice day and Zener, please come down with little drama.

Liz, good luck and hugs no the root canal. Just think of it as an excellent excuse to eat ice cream! Think how nice and cooling that will feel! ;-)

Blech Zener! What is up with that big guy? Come on down now. Nice slide down for +3 so he has the right idea.

Good dental vines being sent to Liz for tomorrow morning on her root canal! Hope it all goes by quick and you can eat easier again. So glad to hear you are feeling better. No 10K for you this weekend. Take it easy and keep getting better.

@Ann & Maggie - yep, a poke break and we went out for a small get-together with friends late this afternoon. After the endodontist exam made her tooth hurt, Liz is more than ready for the procedure tomorrow morning!

@Ann & Tess - hope Ms Tess is also on the slide with Zener. Liz is hoping post procedure to be able to eat cold and hot things. Heat has been the worse and the endodontist told her that's the nerve's last gasp. :shock:

@Melissa & Mr T- big bounce after low numbers last night and he's still sliding at PMPS. Thanks for the good dental vines. And no 10k, you are so right! Taking it easy is hard. :evil:

@Ella - thanks for all the good wishes! Zener is doing his part to get down to "cooling" numbers. We were pretty hot here today, but not quite as hot as you. :roll:

The big guy is outside on guard at the water fountain hoping a bird will land on his head. No yard patrol yet, but it is just now cooling off from a 90 degree day here, our hottest of the season and right on target for summer solstice. He and Tillie have been very subdued today because of the heat.

Liz got some test results back today and her electrolytes are all out of whack from the food poisoning. Back to the doc for another check in the morning, then directly from that doc to the root canal endodontist. What a "no fun" kind of day. :sad: Fortunately my call in for jury duty tonight said "no trial" so I'll be able to take Liz and do morning kitty care for Zener while she is getting her tooth pain relieved. Zener is doing his best to break the bounce and cheer up his beans. What a guy! :razz:

sorry for that amps this morning - but looks like Zener recovered fairly well. at least you are yellow! I too will hope for a food spike with that +2. Think blue Zener - but no diving. Mannie has claimed that role for this evening...

The big guy decided to chew his pill pocket with meds tonight rather than gulp and swallow. He got a taste of the zantac which must be disgusting, so looks like we'll be giving that a skip tonight. I'll be up on night duty for a bit longer to make sure Zener is not planning on diving. The US national diving team selections for London were televised tonight, so paws crossed these kitties don't get any ideas! :lol:
