Another great cycle! Willie is cross tonight as he didn't get his outside time. Bean fell asleep on the sofa this evening, then headed to the apartment for more organizing, packing and cleaning. Kitchen is now almost done... just two cupboards left and floors to clean. Haven't got everything unpacked, but did get it unloaded into the garage at least. Hoping to get more accomplished tomorrow over lunch as the temps are supposed to be quite nice. Storms are blowing through at the moment... looks like the bad stuff is almost finished. Quite the summer weather system... hoping all our friends from OKC to South Dakota are all doing okay!
Will have to get a pic posted, but Willie is now sporting a collar... and was surprisingly compliant with the whole process. In fact, he looks all pleased with himself. Because our small suburb has a very active animal control department, I wanted to make sure that his official status was very apparent. So, Roeland Park's newest resident is doing it in style. The green plaid color choice is temporary... Being as Willie's namesake is Willie the Kansas State University Wildcat, he will be sporting a purple collar soon... Walmart just didn't have any! The bell has been helpful as I've been working around the house... especially when the garage door is open and Willie contemplates jailbreaking to the front yard! :shock: :shock:
