Amy --

Don't feel badly if you need to abort the cycle by feeding HC. You can always slow things down by feeding (try LC first). Give yourself enough time to figure out where numbers are heading and getting things leveled out with HC if you have to leave the house.

Looks like she managed to find her green surfboard! Since she usually does level off after +4, I was basically comfortable leaving at that point, but obviously not so comfortable that I couldn't not run home for a quick test. I had the possibility of LC or HC in the back of my mind, but she pulled it off on her own - woohoo!

I own a bead store, so I teach various types of jewelry making. Today was a metal smithing class: clasps and jump rings (the rings that the clasp hooks into). Fun stuff...I love it, and am very fortunate that I've been able to turn my hobby into my career - and I still enjoy it!

Li'l Miss T is on a roll. Not sure how long it will last, but I'm enjoying it while we're here!

BTW...ship notification - feeder arrives tomorrow! Woohoo!!! (Hopefully she'll be as excited as I am.)

Is it the 5 tray feeder? If so, its kinda loud. Scared the crap out of Curry the first week or so. So I just let her hear it turn w/o putting food in it or near it. Then I started inching her dish next to the feeder or I would put her treats next to it.

I'll be interested in how Trixie likes her new feeder. Take some pics,k?

It is the 5 tray feeder. I liked the idea of being able to rotate it closed after a couple hours so she doesn't inadvertantly eat too close to PS time. Fortunately, Trixie's not very skittish, but who knows what she'll think of this set up! I'll try and grab pics, but I've got the kind of cats who love to stop doing the "photographic moment" the very second I bust out the camera :lol: !

What a nice evening for Miss Trixie!

I have never tried an auto feeder. Tarragon is so skittish that I am sure it would freak him out.

We'll just be using it for +8 snacks. The +8 snacks really do seem to bring down her pre-shot numbers, but the timing of +8 doesn't allow for us to be consistent...us crazy beans who like to get a little sleep and go to work during the day! I've got some skittish kitties in the herd here...this whol experiment will be interesting!
