Since I've been the keeper of Ragnar's spreadsheet, I decided to open a condo for him. Looking pretty good I think. Ragnar's current SS is here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key ... utput=html

There is more data to look at now. While I agree sometimes shots should not have been skipped, hindsight is 20:20  and he hasn't been hovering in dangerous numbers. He was holding in low-mid blues on no insulin, so thought maybe he was ready for OTJ test.... but apparently not quite yet.

Thanks in advance for any words of advice or encouragement for Shirley and Ragnar.

I think you are to be applauded for your willingness to help Shirley out. I still have no clue why she is unable to manage a SS herself other than there are probably several people who will agree with the rest of my post.

I would not attempt to draw a single conclusion based on the data contained in this SS. There are no PM tests beyond PMPS and there are a scant number of spot checks in the AM cycle. This cat could be in exceptionally low numbers at any point in the cycle or be throwing inverted curves and who would know? I don't know how dose changes were decided upon without mid-cycle numbers. The pre-shot numbers are nowhere near what we consider for an OTJ trial. Sorry but Shirley is not testing in a way that is conducive to providing much, if any feedback.

I still think she needs to pick a dose and stay with it, get the spot checks, and go from there. I don't know if 1 drop and Z are the same thing (it doesn't look like it). Start fresh today, whatever dose she shot this morning, hold that for 3 days with some spot checks on each cycle (I know it's not always possible during the work day, but certainly at night). We need to rebuild the shed from the skipped shots and the dose hopping and see where Ragnar settles out.

Thanks for the input.
"Z" is supposedly slightly larger than a drop. Fat drop?
She has gotten more comfortable shooting blue numbers with him, so that's a start. Hoping he'll stay in the healing number range and head toward OTJ again.
