Sorry it's been a while! (blame Johnny's secretary)
Johnny seems to be feeling gooood! He's playing with his toy mice during every waking hour, unless he's eating. His civvie brother Fritz has even caught the fever now. In late-May, I kept having to replace books on the bottom shelf of our small bookcase. After a few days of this, I asked Brian if he was taking some out and leaving them on the floor. He said he wasn't. Finally, Brian caught the book knocker-over in action! He saw Johnny carrying one of his mice in his mouth and putting it on top of the books on the bottom shelf and pushing it to the back. Johnny then pulled a few books out to get to it. One of them was a hardcover Harry Potter book! This boy loves a challenge. It's his new thing.
Another funny...we had friends over a few weeks ago and they took pics and posted them on Facebook. One person commented under a photo of Johnny: "This kitty reminds me of those gorgeous tortoiseshell pickguards on vintage guitars." How random of a comment is that!? LOL
Numbers-wise, he was creeping up at preshots in the last week and we realized (earlier than usual!) that he needed fresh insulin. We've seen definite improvement the last couple of days. Mr. Green this a.m. and didn't nose-dive? Who is this boy?
I think of you all often and hope good things are happening for all FDMB kitties!
