Yesterday

Another lovely surf, starting at a much nicer number than yesterday's. :) :D Furthermore, his appy is happier. He ate all his t/f/s meal and 90% of his breakfast. I freshened the remainder up with a little more and he's been nibbling. No tummy meds so far this morning (anti-jinx).

Temps are starting to climb. The cool Delta breeze is dying down. :( Yup, Summer is here. :arghh:

Today is DH's birthday. Celebration at bowling tonight, as long as I remember to pick up the cake (he doesn't share his cheesecake, and we celebrate three birthdays together at bowling).

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug:

Happy birthday, DH!! Nice surf and happy appy from Harvey is a great gift! I make "cheezecake" for my Mark's birthday, too (which is just under 2 weeks away now :nailbiting:)...I swear and promise you would never know there wasn't any real cheese or dairy in it if I didn't tell you!

Have fun tonight!!

Happy Birthday Daddybean Mark!!

It's great to hear Harvey's appy is happy too!!

Yo Harvey....I is saving my first dance for you at da party tonight....don't be late and make me wait! You knows how us girlz can be!!

Yeah for no tummy meds. Two days since Leukeran, is that a pattern?

Happy birthday Mark! Do you get pretzels tonight Tricia?

What a lovely day for Harvey! Surf it nice tonight please:smuggrin:. And I love to hear about a good appy:):). Happy B'day to Mark! (mmmmmm cheesecake, I'm jealous). I hope you guys have a nice time out bowling, and that they have some nice A/C going! I don't know how you handle it...I'm hot when it's "only" in the 80's! :p.

:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks for the visits and birthday wishes for Mark, everyone. Harvey ate all his dinner and ate all but one of the three meals in his feeder while we were gone! I gave him some fresh food when we got home and he ate the first serving right away. He's still working on his seconds. :woot: Looks like he spend the evening splashing in the shallow end of the lagoon. :D

I went back and looked at the SS, and no, I'm afraid it isn't a pattern. It would have been nice to have such a simple explanation for the upset tummy, rather than fear it's the lymphoma or some p-titis.

No pretzels tonight. This is a total Whole 30 day. Tomorrow we reintroduce legumes and soy. Which reminds me, I need to go get the pork chops out of the freezer.

@Dyana, I remembered the cake! :p BTW, you won't get much cooling off here, unless you go to SF for the day. 100s predicted for this weekend.
:(

I swear and promise you would never know there wasn't any real cheese or dairy in it if I didn't tell you!
Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to get your recipe and try it on mark, just for fun! ;)

I wouldn't share a cheesecake either.
Now why doesn't that surprise me??

So am I!! If you were to go back through my summertime posts over the years you would see all the whining I do! :arghh: I could not survive without A/C.

My in laws don't have it. They live on the coast in Southern CA and say they only really need it a few days a year. Well, every time we've been there in the summer, I've been miserable in the house. Right now they are really miserable, as it's hotter there than here! I hate to say "I told you so". I would suggest they get one of those portable units that you can just set up in the room you're in most, but I don't think they'd go for it. I'll bet the HOA prohibits the in-window kind, too.

Are you going to have a nice tofu and peanut sandwich? ;) Yuck, what a combo that would be!

That's what everyone says in SoCal but it's not true! I've been in LA near the beach for 11 years and every summer it's getting hotter. I may not need AC for more than one month a year, but it would sure make that month a LOT more bearable! It's horrendous right now and I woke up early to cook before work this morning because it's too hot to cook at night.
