Yesterday's Condo

I could kick myself. I forgot to set the alarm this morning so Gabby's shot was 45 min. late. It's by no means terrible but I probably missed catching the end of her blue surf! On the other hand, there is no question her appetite is back. I've been giving Gabby her pills an hour before she eats so the anti-nauseant has a chance to kick in before she eats. Today - pills, test, eat, shoot and no problem.

surprised Gabby didn't wake you....she must think it's just another thing you are trying out...like the change in her breffis...
now she has to wait to get filled up with ...uh...how many installations of the food in the morning? :lol:
That AMPS looks blue to me...I don't care what the meter said.... where can you take that number today Gabby? confused_cat

:-D been there! One of my civvies is my back up alarm - such hollers from that cat if I'm as much as 15 minutes late. aiyee - but i am also grateful...

Very nice start today for gabby! I am glad she's feeling better.

Hi Sienne,
Glad to hear Gabby's wanting to eat again. Purrcie will get icky tummy too if he is off his morning Pepcid AC. Have a good surf today too!

To keep Barb entertained....

For the last several days, Gabby has visited the bathroom while I've been showering. She usually sits on the toilet seat. I know she's there because she tells me, under no uncertain terms, that either she knows I'm there but can't see me which upsets her or that standing in water is foolhardy. If I talk to her, she's much less vocal -- I think she's reassured that the water gods haven't done away with me and that I'm really behind curtain #1. Yesterday, not only did she sit nearby, when I opened the shower curtain, she was sitting on the tub ledge. She then climbed into the shower to help "clean" by licking the water. Today, I just got yelled at.

This is a relatively recent behavior. However, it's one that's been adopted from my GA civvie, George. who's been at the Bridge for a little over a year.

Thank you. I love it. I have a glass enclosed shower. Tuffy sits outside and swats at the water as it runs down the glass. They are funny. When I get out she licks my feet.

Gabby, you are going the wrong way. Don't pay attention to Tuffy. We don't need any more doing their own thing.

Stu likes to sit on the bathmat and be in the way when I'm trying to step out of the shower. I think they like to be in the bathroom when the shower is on so that they can "breathe steam". It moisturizes their nasal passages.
Too bad your schedule got skewed today. But those extra 45 minutes of precious sleep must have been welcome.
Stu is looking forward to seeing Gabby at Ney's OTj party tonight. The food will have a desert theme because we think the Traveling folks are in the desert. All we have to do is find them!

I'm glad Gabby is feeling better. :smile: What a relief.

Everybody needs a shower supervisor. I'm sure she wants to make sure she doesn't disappoint George by letting something horrible happen to you.
