All is well in CurryLand.

Started her on Cosequin yesterday as I was noticing that she seemed a bit on the slow side lately when getting up. Will see if it has any impact on her in 4 weeks or so. We've been playing alot lately since her "release from jail" so that may have added to the stiffness.

Rode w/my new bike shoes this morning. Very nice. It reminded me of the old Keds running shoes commercial years ago...I mean years ago.....when the child would put on the new Keds running shoes and was able to "run faster and jump higher". Of course, giving my legs a day of rest yesterday was helful too.

Nice numbers for Curry this morning!! Glad you like the new bike shoes. I remember those commercials and glad you feel like a new biker!

Arthritis......she's been moving a little more slowly when initially getting up...But we've increased her activity level quite a bit in the last 3 weeks.....I'm giving it to her once daily for 6 weeks as a loading dose and then every other day after that.....I sprinkle it in her food.


I was totally prepared for a higher number for her pmps since she gave me a 93 at +8....What a nice surprise to see the 74....You make mommy very happy Curry.....I've also noticed that her hair on her leg that was recently shaved by her vet during her dental is growwing back quicker...about 1.5 years ago it seemed to take over a year to grow in and it was very thin.
 
Hi Tena, glad you enjoyed your bike ride and new bike shoes. It's great exercise and hope you beat the heat! Curry is looking really good today in greens. I used Cosequin on my GA kitty, and it really seemed to help. I hope it helps Curry's arthritis.

I remember that commercial - the kid with the keds shoes. omg, and a trip down memory lane. Hooray for new shoes, rested legs, and a good ride. :cool: :cool:

Good luck with the Cosequin - I hope it helps Curry. I've used it before for one of my kitties, it did seem to make a difference. nice too on the fur growing back quicker. With one of Mannie';s a couple of years ago the shaved area seemed to take forever too. I wonder one the difference.

I'm also using cosequin with my Mario; I started seeing results pretty quickly - within a week, I would say. He's been on it probably 6-8 weeks now. However, he's still pretty stiff, so we just added adequan in last week, too. The vet said it will take up to 4 weeks to see results from that one, too...it's hard to wait for something like that!

Curry's looking fabulous! Hope the cosequin helps her stiff joints. Enjoy your biking shoes. I have a pair with cleats. I use them at spin class. It's great because your foot and the peddle are one.

What great numbers for Curry today! Btw we started on an inhaler this weekend and he isn't fighting it like I thought he would. Hope you have a great evening!

:lol: Wasn't that the commercial slogan for PF Flyers sneakers? I'm dating myself!

Curry's numbers are AWESOME with just that whiff of insulin.
 
Happy to see such great numbers in Curry Land! My friend lives in Sugarland and says it's been pretty hot down there. Don't know how you bike in that weather!
