Re: 6/2 punkin amps232 +3/196 +6/255 blech
Julie, I've come over to your condo so many times since you posted the acro diagnosis, but I just haven't been able to write anything. I've always felt like you, Bev, Squirrel, and me, plus a couple others, were a group. We all joined this board about the same time and have gotten to know each other's kitties so well. Now all of you have had an acro diagnosis and it's just kind of scary!! I know you always thought Punkin had the characteristics of an acro cat, but I wouldn't even know what to look for. Champ's always been a big cat...people with small dogs who see Champ always joke that Champ could eat their dog for a snack. He has a big head, but is that just because he's a big cat? And what is considered a big tongue in a cat? I don't have another cat here to compare it to so I don't know. Champ is on a relatively high dose of insulin for what most cats are on, though not nearly as much as Punkin, Gus, or Tommy. Now I don't know if I should be worried. I know I could just get the test done, but even if money wasn't an issue, I just don't know if I want to know. I probably don't even need to be worrying about this, but I'm a champion worrier from way back and just can't seem to help myself.
Anyway, I know Punkin is in the best hands possible. You seem to be very levelheaded with a great sense of humor so I don't see this defeating you at all. Punkin is one lucky kitkat!
