Increasing to 1.25 units today.

When testing BG, how quickly could her glucose rise - like in a matter of minutes when I'm having trouble getting blood and we are all getting frustrated - could that small amount of time affect her glucose?

Good luck with the new dose. A few minutes shouldn't make a difference in her numbers.

Are you using a thin layer of Vaseline on her ear tips to help the blood "bead" up when you are trying to get a test? I hope the new dose helps. Like those blues.

Sometimes I'm just not poking in a good spot so it doesn't bleed at all. Her little ear is all bruised up She's such a trooper though!

Sometimes I do better when I poke a little bit lower. Somebody else recommended this to me several weeks ago. I still stay on the outer rim though.
