Yesterday's Condo

It's a quiet morning in these parts. Gizmo refused to come to the kitchen for part 2 of breakfast. He is having a love affair with my printer. It entrances him. I've got a presentation to give tomorrow (yes, I know it's a Sunday. When I agreed to do this I didn't realize it was a weekend.) and was printing out materials. He fell in love all over again. Gabby thought he was nuts but then again, she's highly motivated by food!

Gabby is looking good this afternoon and it must be fun for her to watch crazy Gizmo and the printer! Yuck on having to work on a Saturday and doing a presentation tomorrow. I can definitely relate because it looks like i will have to go into work tomorrow to get things done before Monday. Hope your day goes smoothly and do something nice for yourself later on today...you deserve it!

Well, Gabby. We know that your bean said she needed to prepare for her presentation, but you didn't HAVE to throw a 37 to keep her awake all night! Please keep Gizmo in line and don't let him wrinkle all the papers as they come out of the printer.

PJ party at Sienne's! It is the day for dosecreases. Gabby was feeling left out. Too funny on Gizmo and the printer. Good luck on your presentation tomorrow, especially on minimal sleep.

Gabby came down so beautifully from this morning with a decrease and all! Great!

Does Gizmo try to catch the printer papers when they come out or just lie there and watch them? It must be so cute. :smile:

Sorry you have to work this weekend. I hope you find some time for fun.

Wow, Gabby, you are on a mission. Nothing left to prove, so come on up! Very funny about Gizmo being in love with the printer. It must be serious if he prefers the printer to eating. :lol: :lol:

Gizmo just stares at the printer. It's an ink jet so the sounds are what attracts his attention. It also has a panel on the front that lights up with the printer status. He's mesmerized if it comes on -- which it seems to do independently of whether I'm using the printer. He just gets this incredibly intent look on his face.

It was a beautiful day - and evening - here. The windows are wide open with a gorgeous breeze. The fireworks at Navy Pier are about to begin. Gabby is currently camped out at my feet. She can be so laid back. The only response to the fireworks from her was the twitch of an ear. It's amazing how calm she is and how intense she becomes with a cat sitter!
 
The diving diva continues to hold her title! Congrats on the reduction.

Sounds so nice there...enjoy the fireworks!

Why are there fireworks on June 2nd?

Ella -- We have fireworks at Navy Pier twice a week (Wed. and Sat.) throughout the summer. I don't face the pier so I can't see the fireworks unless I want to go out to the front of the building. However, I can hear the fireworks quite well if my windows are open. I think the fireworks are a tourist attraction. There's also a month in the dead of winter when the city has their Winter Festival when there are fireworks over the Chicago River.
