No AMPS yet. I will report in a little bit. He went high last night for some reason. When I checked him at 3:15 a.m. he was at 315. After having a good day in the blues, I have no idea why he is so high unless it is constipation or the Lactulose. But if it were because Lactulose is a sugar (supposed to be indigestible) that would spike him up a bit like karo. I would have thought, and it wouldn’t last long. Still no poop today.

Poor Darcy. Hope he comes down soon, Suzanne. Didn't you take him to the vet a day or so ago? Did I miss something?

Did you give her Benazepril for the proteinuria? Or was she taking it for her heart already?

Neko was on benazapril first for proteinuria. The heart issues came over a year later.

As for those pinks, I found that long stretches in good numbers like those blues, could also set off a bounce. Looks like maybe he needs a touch more insulin. We've had people give lactulose before with impacting BG.

BLIMEY. You had similar R results with Mr Darcy today! First time, negligible. Second time, OVER WIN! Paws crossed on the vet report (guessing you are also waiting for bloodwork to come back?)

What else does Darcy eat? The Tiny Tiger turkey is the ONLY THING my two will eat reliably now. All the shredded chicken type foods are "eww" now. Minnie won't have the tiki sticks.

Yes. He's pooped about four times today so far. Three this morning (two small and one normal size) and once this afternoon. I hope the Lactulose is helping.

Well... at least you have Tiny Tiger! He won't eat much right now except the Dr. Elsey's Clean Protein Kibble (chicken). At least he ate a lot of it today.

It's such a relief when you find SOMETHING they will eat. I have a bag of that kibble unopened. When I first signed up here, I bought everything that people recommended. Still staring at the bags of freeze dried treats. AND the brand new kickstarter KittySpring water 'fountain' I got back in August. Neither of them drink water at ALL!
