All is well in CurryLand.

Gave both kitties a tuna juice cocktail this morning. Curry finished it in nothing flat....Sid took her time and savored every drop. Sid was still savoring it when Miss Curry decided she wanted some more and came over to Sid's dish. Sid stood her ground (for the first time) w/a good HISS which I think surprised Curry. Then I had to redirect Curry back to her food bowl to finish her breakfast. Curry is such a hoover kitty.

My next step w/the kitties is to try and convert Sid to canned food. Again. Yes, again. I now put her in the bedroom away from Curry to eat since Sid still eats the EVO kibble. So maybe if she is separated from Curry during the meals she will be more inclined to try the wet again.

Will catch up w/y'all this evening.

Nice report!

If you have any luck converting Sid to canned, pass your secret along to me! I'm lucky Trix will eat canned; for the life of me I've tried every trick in the book (including all of Dr Lisa's and then some!) to convert the rest of my herd, with no success at all. I've got two who went on complete hunger strikes during one of my trials...apparently, unlike dogs who will eventually cave when they're hungry enough, cats - or at least MY cats - won't! I've got them to the point where maybe they'll eat a lick or two, but I can't get them to commit to a meal...

Sid is a tough cookie in terms of trying to transition and I totally understand the hunger strike issue. Its a challenge.

Curry's appetite kinda sucks. But I think this happened before when her numbers began to flatten out. I do weigh her every two weeks and she hasn't lost. So we forge ahead using chicken dust, forti flora, etc. Since she was set free yesterday, she totally forgot how to use the feeder. Silly kitty.
