Yesterday

So glad the board is back up!! I always worry and miss everyone when it goes down.

Trix's appy had a slow-ish start today...I would put it at the low-mid range of "happy appy". It was picking up by the time I left work....but I had to leave for work .....so no midday snacks other than what I left out. She seemed perky and spunky, but there was a teeny bit of empty-tummy tummy acid spit this morning and I always suspect that is from her, so that's probably why her appy wasn't as off-the-charts ecstatic as I like.

My Dad's back actually felt pretty close to normal yesterday - he even almost cancelled the bone scan. But it is bothering him this morning. Hopefully, though, the fact that he had a day of it not bothering him at all means that this thing is working itself out. As of now, he is keeping the scan appointment.

Gotta get working...blech. Have a great day, L&LL!

Glad to hear that Trixie's appetite is picking up again. I feel you pain when our kitties aren't eating right.

Harvey had some tummy acid spit up today, too. Right after I gave him his Pepcid! It came up, too. Like Trixie, he then ate, but with a little less enthusiasm than normal. I think they are being wary of its happening again. Sending healing tummy vines for her.

I agree it sounds encouraging that your dad's back felt better yesterday, but I also think he should keep that appointment. Even if they find nothing wrong, what a relief that would be to know!

Amy- I'm so glad I scanned your thread yesterday! I have a batch of Purina Proplan that has a March 2017 expiration date and Noodle is NOT happy with it. I was thinking its overall appetite... but now I'm going to try to track down a different batch!

Eta: Oops, misread (too ready for the weekend), mine are May 2017. I'll still check for a different batch to experiment.

Damn ProPlan I bought Vyktor a couple of tins, he liked it, so I bought him a couple of trays of tins - he won't touch it must check the date on those too! Still with Purrdy the garbage disposal machine coming I'll be able to offload a few tins his way.

Trix eats Purina One, not ProPlan. But I think any and all fuds is subject to inconsistency. I've seen it happen with her Fancy Feast, too. Always a good idea to check a different batch when fussiness pops up!!

Trix's appy seems to be back on par this evening, thank goodness and anti-jinx! It didn't qualify as "crappy" earlier today, either, but it lacked the enthusiasm her greedy MamaBean likes to see.
