Good Morning LL!!
(Lots Elsa, DGS fuel needed!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are back on duty, with Bug having survived his trip to the vetty. He was so not happy, and let my bean know. No pizza for her yesterday, and then came that dagger look, you know the one.... BUT! My bean is so cool! She told him it was OK, that she understood he was in a major snit, and had every right to be, but didn't he truly feel better? and then gave him his fav fuds! He caved. so. well. anyways. onwards!
time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espresso, beans from high in the Andes Mountains.... , and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles and white chocolate curls. MEGA YUM! Cimmamum is my fav! OH! No worries, a dollop of cimmamum and vanilla swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... good!
I wrote about Mannie yesterday. It seemed fitting somehow, what with it being the two month mark of his passing. I thought, happily, alot about him yesterday, tried to be attuned to any of those messages he might send. I'll be darned! By days end there had been three. Seems he really did want us all to know all is well with him - life at the bridge must be darn good!
I wrote this in a post to one of the beans that posted yesterday: "I think so on the signs . I have been trying to get Mannie's un-used 5 pen supply of insulin to a friend here who wants it. It has been two months since I initially contacted her and she said she really did want he pens, and we have not been able to connect. This morning out of the blue she writes and says she can take it today, wants to pay full price, wants the syringes and the lancets, of which I had tons, as I had just restocked when Mannie crossed, so.... Thank you Mannie! That and the sunbeams that have shined through a very cloudy morning.
" I will never ever forget that ray of sun I had the moment I laid him to rest. He has remembered... Later that night I went to get the kitties dinner ready, fed them, came back to make sure Bug (Mr HOOVER) hadn't eaten Elsa's food, and there it was: right in the middle of the floor: another test strip, new and unsued. WOW on that one... it was so so Mannie! Luvs ya always big guy, and thank you for letting us all know you are OK.
Life is good! Mannie said so.
Bug survived the vet, no worse for wear. The hardened ear wax portion that they pulled out of his ear was on the rather large size. I have to laugh: my vet saved a portion of it for me so I could see. Sent it home with me too. ;-)  WOOT! We have a vetty souvenir. It was knda cool to look at. Just this dried hunk of stuff...waxy stuff. She had to show me: "Look at this - amazing that all this was in his ear." She broke it in half as we spoke so I could see. And then she wrapped it up, put it in a small pill bottle for me and off I went, kitty and ear wax in tow.  Bug has forgiven me for taking him here and seems to no longer think that I am evil arch enemy #1 for taking him to that awful place. Ah Bug... sorry little guy, but you are home now, and all is well. All is back to the normal here. Elsa is ruling the roost. Bug is seeking pets and scritches and more fuds. And Lola is back to being Miss Crazy kitty. No blind is safe  .... no lamp remains upright
.... no paper remains un-shredded  .... not hall is a no run zone  ..... the list is endless.  I think I need to take some more photos... Yes? YUPP! Normalcy in Three MusketeerVille.
Have a great day everyone. I will have Nicholas for a good portion of the day - it will be a swim day for us. His dad is still off work, so our schedule today is a bit different. Swim then whatever there is time for... William has another DR checkup today: one day shy of two weeks old. Time flies! I will try and get to condos when I can.
