Daphne made it through the first day of her diet, with only one cave from mom bean. (just 1/2oz extra for a late night snack).

It's still a work in progress till we get to the right amount of food per day without getting Miss Daphne all worked up over it. I figure, that will only raise her BG if she is not happy with me. Yes, I know, she can manipulate me like no one else, my DS comes in second on that one. :lol:

This is her diet for now. She gets 1.3oz at each shot time, and 1.85oz, divided for snacks through the day. All food is EVO, even her snacks. With luck, she will be able to lose a pound.

Loosing weight is difficult for human & kitties alike! :lol: :lol: Is Daphne active at home? How about getting her a toy or playing with her to burn up a bit more calories? Cat condo?

Thanks Helen for the idea, but Daphne has such bad arthritis, it hurst her to do much of anything. Daphne and I are in the same boat. It hurts me so much to do anything, the lucky thing is, I don't gain weight, in fact I try to put it on, and its hard. Wish I could take a little from Daphne :lol:

Daphne has been coming to me for food every half hour now, and I wonder if this is going to work. I give her 1/2 tsp. and she eats it, and goes away for another half hour. :lol: This is exhausting!
