We got through the night without a crash, but he's still not hungry. Ate a little Friskies pate vs his normal FF. Even forti flora, nutritional yeast and freeze-dried chicken sprinkled on top isn't tempting him. Gave him 1/4 tab mirtazapine and hope it kicks in soon so he eats.

He's more interested watching the squirrels and chipmunks at the bird feeder than eating his food.. At least he is more alert than yesterday.

3 hours after the mirtazapine and he acts interested in food, but then just eats a couple of bites and walks away...

Thanks. I went to the store and bought some fishy flavors of FF to see if adding some to his normal food would entice him. Of course, as soon as I walked into the house, he started vocalizing and indicating he was hungry so I offered him a mix of FF/Friskies, with some freeze dried chicken on top and he ate a bit. Then came back and asked for more, so I put a Tb of the left-over gravy on top and he ate more. Still not eating heartily, but at least he has some food in his system now...

Just talked with my vet and she said to give him 1/2 tab cerenia daily, as needed.

Not wanting his FF tonight. Ate a little Friskies pate. I added some gravy and FF Petite salmon and even that didn't entice him to eat much!
