We are in the PINK this morning. Every day is a new day. Let's hope for the best. I do give Gideon as a treat - 2 times per week a jar of Gerber's Chicken or Turkey baby food. The carbs on the jar = 2%. The ingredients are ground chicken, water, and cornstarch. Is the cornstarch an issue for a diabetic kitty? I should probably post my question in a different forum. Thanks again!
 
Gerbers is fine as a treat. You dint need to post elsewhere. I used it too and it never raised Max’s bg.
 
Thank you. I did post in another forum regarding the gerber's which has cornstarch.
We go through ALOT of Stella & Chewies freeze tried, which we use as treats. We have 3 kitties, and they eat both the cat & dog S&C freeze dried. They also like freeze dried chicken and tuna flakes. Gideon sometimes won't eat unless I put a bit on top of his food. He looks at me like I am cheating him if he doesn't get some on top at times.
