Yesterday's condo

Busy day already! I took one of my pups to run in a 5k this morning. Luckily, the event started bright and early at 8am and it wasn't too awfully hot yet. Einstein also much appreciated that they had placed pools along the way for the dogs to cool off... which didn't help our time at all. ;)

Meanwhile, Walter is once again wearing his yellow shorts. He is pretty sure that it's the kittens' fault. But, then again, he is also pretty sure that they have ruined his life. He keeps wondering why he is expected to put up with them - after all, didn't get get neutered so he wouldn't be expected to take care of any babies?!? :rolleyes::cat::p

Luckily, Capone and Mandarin make up for Walter's lack of a paternal instinct. Capone also finally succeeded in grooming one of the hyper kits when she was distracted by a nanner (see picture). The kits are also no longer concerned about my big guys... even Walter's growling doesn't seem to phase them one bit.

...now let's hope that they won't learn to climb the cat trees until Walter gets used to them.

So stinkin cute! :kiss::kiss: Nice to have those dog pools...bet you were tempted to take a dip too;) Come on Walter....back down please...you can do it buddy. Hopefully he'll get use to those crazy cuties soon.
 
That is the cutest picture! Tell Walter that he might actually like the kits after a while. I still want the Siamese, Lilly . :cat:

If you send Walter your address, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to find her a ride. ;)

She is such a little doll! I don't think it has ever dawned on little Iris that someone might not like her. She is totally unfazed by Walter's hissing and keeps running circles around him, playing with his tail and being all around disrespectful. :rolleyes::oops: I am just glad that Walt is mostly talk and hasn't made any attempt to actually swat at her.

If I were to bring a kitten into the house I think Boomer would pack his little satchel and run away from home lol. Allen, on the other hand, would just roll his eyeballs!

I think Walter's preferred option would be to pack their little satchel and send them to new homes. He would much prefer to stay where he's at and get his peace and quiet back. :smuggrin:
 
How cute. I hope Walter gets used to the kittens soon. I love how Iris keeps trying to play with Walter. I found a kitten one time that had a broken leg. I adopted him and my other cats didn't like him and hissed at him. He just wanted to play with them and ran up to them and batted them on the head with the cast on his leg. :p They did eventually get used to him.
