Dose increase to 7.5 last night.

Well - we managed to find it: the one med in 15 years that he can detect thru food. This compounded enrofloxacin is it. Since it didn’t have the desired effect on BG that we were all hoping, I think I may go back to Orbax... eating is the one true joy this boy has in life (I hear ya buddy), and while it’s only two of his many meals, it’s just stressful making sure he eats it all, chasing him around the house, trying to mix in different foods every day once he catches on... and today he threw it up. I’ll hang on with the Enro til Monday but I think I know where we are headed.
Sigh!

Bummer on the med detection! Have you ever tried a special treat liked all meat babyfood? Gerbers or Beechnut. Mix the med in that. That way he doesn’t associate bad things with his own food.
