:lol: We were peppered by blackflies even when we were moving fast!! But it was a good ride with some challenging hills. We had our lunch on the shore of a remote lake. We wore our headnets and snuck in bites of food under the nets! Not the most relaxing of conditions.

Rusty had a good day. He was pretty high at +9, but that's what happens when we have fur shots. Rusty and Edward spent some time outside and Rusty enjoyed a good combing.

At present we are sitting on the front porch waiting for it to be time for PMPS. We each have our own favorite chair.

Yikes on the flies, but the ride sounds wonderful! Rusty, it's time to forget about yesterday's furshot...let's head back to the lagoon, OK?

I'm glad your weather is better now. I hope there's a little breeze to blow away the flies. Eating under netting? :shock:
 
Nice slide, Rusty. I'm glad you didn't take that fur shot too seriously! Things almost got out of hand at the lagoon today without you. Hope you can make it back there tomorrow to restore order!

Ella, you are a dedicated athlete, to persevere and ride despite the presence of such annoying pests! I don't think I could stomach trying to eat while wearing netting. One might ingest a little more protein than one intended! :shock:
 
Oh Rusty, you are the most efficient at recovering from fur shots. Can you give lessons to other kitties?

Ella, I have the most wonderful Norman Rockwell image in my mind of you all sitting in your favorite chairs on the porch waiting for PMPS. :-D
