Hi Everyone,
We got home by lunchtime and Rusty was a terrific traveler. He had a normal poop today and spent the afternoon on my porch, helping me get caught up (more or less) on paperwork. These days are so crowded that it is hard to find time for normal chores.:) We checked out the Racquette River on our way home and it was really moving, and high so we changed the venue of tomorrow's paddle to Weller Pond and Middle Saranac Lake. @Wendy&Neko it took about 5 hours to paddle 11 miles yesterday with about an hour off for lunch and a swim.

Thanks for the visits yesterday.

Welcome home. Pretty terrific numbers for Rusty for a travel day. :cool: I love it when fun like paddling interferes with normal chores. You have your priorities right! :)

Have fun on tomorrows paddle. I was curious how your speed compared to rowing and what sort of distances you covered. We do 11 km in a little under an hour, depending on type of workout.

The Poo Patrol is so pleased Rusty had a purrfect poo! Chief Inspector Crapdash and Detective Poo present....drumroll please...

To Rusty - for purrfection of the Poo variety!

Poo patrol formed when our beloved GA kitty Zener was struggling so with IBD on top of his FD. The wonderful people here in LL saved the beans' sanity with such timely touches of humor. We were inspired by so many kitties at that time with poo issues, voila...Poo patrol was born. The name "Crapdash" came from a long ago LL poster (Celi and Binks) who described the happy crap dash after a satisfying kitty poo. :joyful:

Love it, thanks so much for providing the history behind this. This place really is the best online community.:joyful::bighug::joyful:

Glad that things are back to normal. Fun should always prevail over chores, especially when retired. (Shays she who has been frantically trying to get things she let go in order for company for the last three days!:woot:)

Welcome home LagoonMeister!!! Hope to see you down at the lagoon overseeing the training of your deputies soon!

I have a feeling a lot of rivers are going to be off limits for paddlers for awhile...at least in the eastern half of the country. Even the Lake here has so much trash in it from the rivers flooding that the boaters have to be careful they don't run into a tree floating down the lake.

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Welcome home, and here's to out very savvy traveler. Well done Rusty. I like your blue day too, not bad for being on the road. :cool:

Enjoy today's paddle Ella, hope it is a good one!

And I concur! Fun should always prevail over chores. :)
