Well, it was nice while it lasted. I think he is trying to get constipated again so we'll see if this passes when he goes!

He was pretty active last night. Must be cause he was still buzzed from partying over at Jezebel's condo so late!

He is starting to like his new lower numbers. Morning schedule went well.

+4 113. He wants to go outside but it's getting too hot now. He spent all morning outside lazing in the sun and working on his beach bum tan. Nice wet nose, and holding his hydration much better with these low numbers.

I am changing his Squids time to 4:30 PM which is +8 on his schedule. Does that sound ok? He gets 150 ML every day.

Changed Squids to +8 so hopefully that won't cause any issues with nadir.

For him flat is WONDERFUL! He used to skyrocket then bungee day and night on Humulin.

Tonight he took me for a walk with his sister Blossom. She climbed up on the bottom rail of the pasture fence and was being all demure and cute. He couldn't stand that she was getting attention so he runs over and climbs the fence like a lumber jack! LOL! Then he was perched on the very top of the post like a buzzard. Remember Snoopy doing that in the cartoons? Just like that! HA HA. It's great to see him feeling so much better.

Hy Myla and Purrcie! I was strolling through the condo list and happened upon your condo and thought I'd drop in to say hello. I haven't been around much lately, so I don't think I've introduced myself yet. I'm Deb and my sugar kitty is Spot. Spot is OTJ now, thanks to the help of the wonderful folks on this board...and Spot's bestest Auntie Bean, Dian.

I checked out Purrcie's ss...the past few days look awesome for Purrcie! Nice flat blue cycle today...very nice.
Go Purrcie!!! I hope that this trend continues for Purrcie!!

Hi Myla. Boy is Purrcie ever doing well with just being on the Lantus for such a short time. It's amazing. I love it. Keep it up Purrcie!

Thank you for the neighborly welcome and words of encouragement. Purr seems to like Lantus so far. Fingers crossed that he keeps up the good work. We're back in the pink tonight but I think he's trying to get constipated again so I hope the blues and maybe some greens will come our way again soon.

He got miralax today to help.

Boy, can you believe that's the same cat?? Have you mentioned how well Purrcie's doing on lantus to your vet? It'd be nice if you guys could help teach her to spare the next diabetic cat the ordeal of using N.....

I haven't talked to her yet. She was supposed to call me back but she has a bad habit of not doing that. I want to send the link to Purrcie's SS so she can *SEE* for herself.
