good morning!

punkin fed, made sure anya made the clean plate club, and now it's nap time. i saw punkin eating something off the rug and i'm wondering if it was cookie crumbs. he was under the chair where my daughter's been sitting and she made cookies yesterday. guess i'll find out when i'm checking him later.

anya is such a hoot. she has a hard time getting settled on my lap. you can't push her to sit down - she stands all rigid and turns around like a dog. between me and the computer screen, of course. then when she decides she's aimed the right direction, she basically throws her little body down against me in one movement. she always wants her head hanging over one arm, the better to help me type with.

we've decide to drive down to yosemite this week. our son's going to come spend the week and i'll teach him to test and shoot. the only thing i'm worried about is that he's a sleep monster and i just hope he doesn't oversleep and miss the morning shot.

today we're off to have lunch with my father-in-law for father's day. it's just a 2 hour drive, so we'll be home in time for tonight's shot.

Good morning Julie!! I've missed you my friend. Sounds like you have quite the day planned and a fun one at that. Punkins number looks very nice this morning indeed. Does your son sleep through alarm clocks as well?
Would he hear the phone if you called him at test time?
I'm curious, does Anya lay on the arm you use to move the mouse with?.. My Belle will do that which makes it very hard to move of course :lol: .. Ahhhhhhhh!! the things we will endure to make sure our furbabies lives are not disturbed.

Thank you so much for thinking of me and keeping me close to your thoughts this past week. It has been pretty rough. I got your PM just yesterday.. Thank you for the hugs, I've felt them all and oh how I've missed you too!

Hi Julie!!! Punkin's looking good to start!! Awesome that you get to take the DFIL out for Father's Day!! And I want to see pictures of Yosemite!! My DD has been there with her grandparents, but I've never been so I wanna see!! :lol: And good luck with the DS waking up for the testing and shooting. Sometimes it's not CAN they do it, but WILL they do it. :lol: :lol:

YAY!! Yosemite! How great is that. I do hope you have a great time. It is so nice too that you have someone who can come and take care of Punkin. What I would giver for that - another YAY!!!
