Yesterday Neko saw some green, then she bounced. :rolleyes: Thanks to Carla, Ella, Elise, Rhiannon, Suki, Michelle for the later stop-ins.

I would have gotten a good sleep last night after the start of that bounce, if it wasn't for the early morning whining/face licking crew. Hey guys, I'm not rowing on Thursdays now! Once again, since I was awake early I took advantage of the situation and popped in Neko's Azodyl. Probably not what she was hoping for. :p

I've been noticing a subtle change in Neko's appy. She's cleaning her plate no problem, but she's been a little more polite in letting Theo finish and walk away from his dish before polishing his plate. She used to always push him out of the way, now she only sometimes does.

I'm off in a few to chauffeur my parents. My dad has a medical appointment at the big city hospital and they don't like driving in town anymore. I'll meet them the other side of the ferry. If things work out, I hope to take my mother on a bit of clothes shopping while we wait - she seldom gets a chance to do that anymore. Neko has given a safe departures number and is, as usual, in the solarium.
 
I hope Neko heads back to the lagoon soon. I hope your dad's appointment goes well and you get some shopping in with your mom.
 
Interesting on the appy change. Polly still goes for the other cats' leftovers, but she, too, now waits 'til the others walk away. (Course she also knows she still has food on her plate on the bathroom vanity!)

Not supposed to last long, but enough to water the gardens. :joyful::joyful:

Carla, Marilyn, Peg, Deborah, Bron - Thanks for stopping in and keeping Neko company while she foraged the high blues (and probably yellows :rolleyes:). My dad was getting some specialized hearing tests done, this is the only place around that does it. DD has lost most of his hearing - occupational hazard of a firefighter. The ferry was 15 minutes late and I just barely got them there on time. There is a cluster of medical buildings where we were, and very little parking, or little parking that doesn't cost an arm and a leg so I got to do drop off and hoof it to street side parking. DM and I did get some clothes shopping done for her, so overall a successful trip. I think both were tired. DM did a bit more walking and at 93 (well, as of next Monday), she's entitled to be a bit slower.
 
How kind of Neko to stay in the blues so MamaBean didn't have to worry about dramarama while on parent patrol! 90s and still kicking it! Woo hoo!
