I haven't opened a condo in a week, just too much going on! Mr Tinkles is doing great, he has earned 2 dose decreases in the last week. Thursday night, we took the kitties outside for a few minutes right before PMPS, and Mr Tinkles caught a vole. He immediately started growling, he wouldn't let either of the other cats near him, and he wouldn't let me take it away either...he has never growled at me before! My DD was completely freaked out, she wanted me to get it away from him before he killed it, but I didn't want to get bitten and DH was not around to help, so he ended up killing and eating it. :shock: He was very pleased with himself....I figured at least it wasn't dog kibble! I can confirm that voles are LC, it didn't adversely impact his numbers. :razz: All Ps in place, he still is feisty for shots so I gave up and just use a helper to shoot. :roll:
I finally got to a store that sells Merrick BG food, so I picked up a bunch to try. He had the Turkey Thursday and loved it, and it didn't seem to affect his numbers...YAY!
I gave him the Quail this morning, but I pulled it after the +1 mini meal as it seemed to boost his numbers. It could be a bounce though, so I will try it again before I give up on that one. I have a hard time finding high quality food that doesn't adversely affect his BG, the only other one I can use is EVO and he gets tired of it, so I'm hoping some of the varieties of BG will work out well for him.
Life is busy, DD has one more test, but is hopefully on track to graduate in a week....so I am trying to be around as much as possible, but my time is limited. I'm off to catch up a little bit, before I have to head out on errands. I should be around more tonight. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
