Good morning everyone:)

Thanks to all the responses regarding my ot question on gingivitis. I will try the qtip trick and look into getting some kitty toothpaste. It's probably a good idea to get dental done sooner than later so I'll prbably book her into the vet when school is done. Sienne, I hear your point about cookies not being able to clean our teeth  however, the t/d nuggets are HUGE and as the cat crunches down on them they are supposed to work to scrape the tartar off. I think it worked as Ella is the oldest cat in the household and is the only one that ate t/d and she has the best looking teeth. Unless of course she's just not prone to tartar?! Is that possible?

She gave me some yellow this morning so we'll see where she goes. Hopefully she'll come down nice and slow. She had all weekend to show off so I hope she today isn't the day she wants to join the circus!

Sending healing and strength vines to Comet,Claudia and Rocket.

Hi guys .. good luck with the dental .. they can be very nerve wracking, but so worth it in the long run .. come on down now ella, join the others on the lower levels! Have a great day guys!

Re: 6/18 Ella AMPS 293

Nice start to the day Ella. Let's see some blues for the party later today.

Tamara, it is possible for some cats to be more prone to tartar than others. My Neko is 3 years older than Theo but her teeth look much younger and whiter - even before her dental. He's already had an extraction at age 5-6.

Re: 6/18 Ella AMPS 293

Thanks for all the good wishes for Ella today, however she didn't have blues and it could have been my fault. It was a hectic morning here and I didn't have a chance to post my numbers but she was dropping at +2 so I gave her mc as I couldn't come home for lunch. It might have been too much ohmygod_smile as she went higher.

Wendy, thanks for letting me know that some cats are more prone to tartar. Ella is five years older than the rest of the kitties so I really thought the food she was eating was helping to control the tartar. She sure did love those cookies

Re: 6/18 Ella PMPS 290

Hi Tamara, thanks for visiting us earlier. Maggie has had some gingivitis in the past and two dentals within the past three years. I recently started brushing although she fights me a little! Hope Tamara comes down. You have to feel good about leaving her, so I can understand the mc. Wishing you both a good afternoon.

Oh Ella, I think your mom bean was pretty nice to leave you with that tasty mc food, but now its time to come down a bit.

Hi Tamara, thanks for visiting our condo last night. I was so tired I never made it back to visit.
