Sorry to have been so quiet lately. I have not been in the best of spirits. My heart breaks even more when I see posts about more GAs
Today marks 4 weeks since Butthead left. I still find myself glancing at the places where he could usually be found, and catch glimpses of a cat and for a fleeting moment think it's him, but it is not. He is not home with me yet. Perhaps that will make a difference. There is still another video of him you haven't seen yet. I kept the camera on for over an hour when driving home from Angell in Boston, but I need to edit the footage into smaller pieces to upload it. This afternoon as I was out running errands, I heard the song "Smile" by Uncle Kracker on the radio, and it instantly reminded me of Butthead's famous driving video where that was playing in the background. So I'm very much a jumbled mess of happy and sad. I know, unfortunately, that many of you here can relate...

His chin does appear smaller, and I don't think it's my imagination, so perhaps it really was swollen due to infection. He has given me several green PMBGs, and recently has been having random voracious appetite episodes where he wants to eat! eat! eat!, and that caused his BG to spike on those evenings. He got to go outside several times today. He insisted
. Here he is chilling in some of the garden foliage. He probably thought he was invisible, but his big black butt and tail were hanging out...
Here is a short video. "Donovan's eyeball":

I am uploading another one of him walking around looking for grass, but it's taking a long time. I'll post it as soon as it's ready.
