Question: Why are kittens actually excellent bosses?

Answer: They have great littership.

Coco is about 6 years old, a black bun. So cute. According to his mom, buns aren't as smart as cats, they don't think a whole lot just figure out if they are safe or not.

I set up the kitty playpen in the middle of the living room and Lynn put Coco in it. I brought Squeaky into the room, in his carrying case. I wanted to ease him into the situation in a way that he would feel safe. It worked.

Let him out of the case. In an hour and a half, twice he went over and sniffed Coco through the playpen, but most of the time he was about 8 feet away, just observing this strange thing that wasn't a cat (obviously) but huh. What the heck is it? Squeaky was in defensive mode (I petted him and he jumped a bit) but he wasn't at all aggressive, just cautiously watching from a distance. I could tell, he was having a good time! All attentive.

I have photos and will try to attach them.

What fun to watch them! I love bunnies! I'll bet bun was just as curious as Squeaky. Too bad you couldn't let bun out of the cage. It would have been fun to watch him run around and observe Squeaky during the process. I doubt Squeaky would have been a threat. Probably just super curious. Nice to see those blues, yesterday.

Nice blues for Squeaky. Love the playdate pictures.

Thanks Gals!!!! Well Squeaky was a bit afraid of the bunny, he was like, "What kind of cat is this?" but he kept his distance and observed peacefully. So the meeting was a success and I hope Lynn will bring Coco back for another meeting.

Hoping you are both doing well and kitties too!
