Good morning all,

Thank you so much for all the support and encouragement over the last few days. I knew this place was wonderful, and the people were too, but the knowledge and the compassion... Words just don't express how much I appreciate you all.

I had updated Zeus' condo last night, but then I guess the server must have switched and many of the last posts were lost. The Dr said that Zeus did very well yesterday, they gave him insulin at 2 PM which is our +8, he had been eating and was bright and happy. Phew. I woke up this morning at 2 AM, coincidentally and thought that Zeus must be getting his shot about now :smile:

I called the hospital this morning and the Dr said that Zeus is doing great :-D and he did get his shot at 2 AM, :lol: She said that he has been eating really well, he's been happy, he was rubbing on the cage and she said that they all keep going in to pat him because he is so lovable and such a pleasure. I know I am biased, but I think so too. :-D

I am just so relieved. I can't pick him up until the afternoon because I have a meeting this morning, but sounds like he is just fine where he is, thank you everyone for the prayers and good thoughts for Zeus.

Kathie that is such wonderful news. I'm so glad Zeus is doing so much better. I bet you can't wait to pick him up and get him home.

I am so happy to know Zeus is doing great.
It's so good he's not scared at the vet, and getting lots of attention and love at the clinic!
 
I picked him up on my lunch hour... An hour and 45 minutes actually, oops. I didn't really care I just wanted him to come home. I tested almost immediately when we walked in the door... 62 (approx +12). I fed him, but didn't shoot because I had to go back to TBP. Gave me a pass to get us back on the normal shooting time.

Zeus was very vocal in the car... He's not a vocal kitty, so it was kind of strange. He must have been giving me heck for leaving him there. He's kind of giving me the cold shoulder now. And then there's Smokey, she says he smells funny. :lol:

Oh, he might be forgiving me a little... He came to me for scritches then walked on me (as he does) to get to the arm of the love seat next to me. It feels so good to have him home again. We have a follow up with our regular dr on Wednesday morning. The ER hospital forgot to give me the appy stimulant so I have to go pick that up tonight. I hope he continues to do well.
 
SO happy for you! YEAH! It's been my experience that they are a little peeved at you in the beginning when they come home but in no time they are SO happy to be there that they can't help but love you! Hoping you get lot's of lovin'!
 
Kathie, I'm so glad Zeus is home and walking on you, so that means he forgives you for leaving him. :smile:
My post for good vetty vines got lost in the shuffle, as well as my own posts, last night
I'm sending different vines today......good eating vines. Hope he thinks your offerings are yummy and gobbles it up. :smile:
 
Hey Zeus man, KTSS will be over later to give you the spa treatment to get that vetty smell off. In the meantime, eat your fuds and tell your mamabean that you love her!

What fantastic news!! I'm so glad he's doing so much better and is home!

Lantus land prayers are always miracles.

Glad you are back on schedule. Lots of happy kitties and beans tonight since Zeus is home!!!!
