yesterday: amps - 295
pmps - 256
+6 - 152

Tuscany was carried out to the grass tonight - she had a good time eating and watching beans water. She even got up to do a little wander around and was upset with us when we made her come in.
I picked up some bupe from vet today. I wanted to have it on hand for when we are gone - in case the dps needs to use it.
I've moved the litter box to the center of Tuscany's usual haunts. Hopefully she will use it. I've also started delivering her food to her - lazy bones sometimes will lay and eat it.

Taking lots of pictures. Got some nice ones outside in the grass tonight.

We leave on Saturday. I will try to post before leaving - but since I am not even packed yet..... Nobody panic when you don't hear from us til after June 29th.

You are such a sweet mama-bean. So glad Tuscany got to enjoy being outside in the grass today. I hope she doesn't need the bupe while you are gone, but it's great that you are prepared so she can stay comfortable.

Better get packing! And enjoy your trip!

Well, we would have panicked probably... so thanks for the heads up! It sounds like a very nice evening was spent with the beans outside last night. I am so glad Tuscany enjoyed herself....where is she going with that +3 anyway?
Hope you have a good trip Joyce....

Joyce,

I'm just catching up and read about Tuscany's diagnosis. I'm so sorry... I know you mentioned that she had this on her paw, but I'm hoping for slow growth and many more happy memories with her. This is really tearing me up, after all you went through with Merlot and all the help and advice you gave me recently with Blue (with his amputation and cancer dx). I know you've made Tuscany's life a good one, and you'll continue to give her a happy life. She's lucky to have you.

You know, bupe didn't seem to make Blue groggy at all. He was clear-eyed and alert the whole time - maybe he slept a little more, but he's nearly narcoleptic normally, so it's hard to say. Maybe when Tuscany had it before she had too high of a dose? Is that possible?

Just FYI... I'm a big fan of natural remedies and supplements and I was searching stuff out for Blue - found a product called ES Clear - people give it to cats with cancer (http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-cancer). I know nothing much about it except for what people wrote in the reviews, but it might be worth checking out. Also, there's a product called "Cell Forte" - I take this, and they have a version for cats. I just gave the cats the same one I was taking for a while when we first realized Blue had a tumor (I stopped later cuz Big Cat wasn't eating much and I didn't want to add anything to food that might turn him off since he and Blue shared food bowls). Supposed to be good for generally regulating cell growth, and enhancing healthy cell growth. There's also another supplement I take called Beta Glucan and I've read about people using it on cats with cancer with some success. Just some thoughts...
