PMPS: 105

+6: 88
+11: 78

Good morning, LL!
Sending vines to Melissa's Turnup, looking forward to Zeus coming home to Kathie today, and hope Pepper's treatment on Colo. goes well.

There are some glitches in the board (as we were warned about), as my evening post last night disappeared, came back, then disappeared again.
Summary: Ripley was let outside yesterday (DH meant well) and she got over-heated, so she was feeling a little punk last night. Low appy, low energy, generally uncomfortable-looking.
But this morning she has perked up and is currently slurping her breffis.

An observation I made last night: my meter seems to be showing a lot of "88" lately. I think I counted 6 in the last week or so, then 2 more last night. Curious. (It makes me think of 88 keys of a piano, then I feel a little sad for stopping lessons at age 13...)

I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86

Nice green start for Ripley. Poor DH and poor Ripley. I'm glad she is feeling better today. That heat takes it out of all of us. Have a great day Josie and thank you do much for the vines.

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86

Interesting on the 88s. I've had a few runs where it seems like my meter is "stuck" on a certain number, too...don't know what that's all about, though!

Too bad Ripley got a bit over-heated yesterday, but I'm glad she's feeling better today! Let's see another one of your gorgeous surfs, Miss Ripley!!

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86

Hi Josie, yes, I think there were changes being made at mid afternoon, so some posts may have not transferred over to the new or something to the effect. Oh poor Ripley and I know your DH must have felt bad, too. Glad she is okay. Her numbers sure are good. Mags hopes Ripley will save her another umbrella drink.
Have a great monday.

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86

Hi Josie,

Ripley looks wonderful. I'm glad she recovered from being left outside in the heat.

I think that when our meters encounter anomalies that are not serious enough to trigger an error message (not quite enough blood, a little too much blood, trace moisture on the strip, etc.) they "decide" to throw out a number that they "know" is typical. Just my theory  .

Have a great day,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Josie,
I'm glad to know that Ripley is feeling better today (I actually read your post about the heat and 88 last night).
One time, my meter gave me the exact same number 3 times in a row, I had to poke myself to make sure it's not broken :-D

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86

Hi Josie. Another great AMPS for Ripley this morning. Glad Ripley is feeling better this morning after her overheating episode yesterday. I wasn't on the board last night but everything seems to be working great this morning.

An observation I made last night: my meter seems to be showing a lot of "88" lately. I think I counted 6 in the last week or so, then 2 more last night. Curious. (It makes me think of 88 keys of a piano, then I feel a little sad for stopping lessons at age 13...)
Isn't it funny how something like a number can bring back childhood memories? Maybe there are piano lessons in your future.

Have a great day Josie.

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86, +9 76

Thanks, all, for the visits today! Such kind words!
Ripley is on her rocker, but I bet any minute now she's going to wander to the back door and squawk to be let outside... Poor girl.

Re: 6/17 Ripley AMPS 86, +9 76

Nice greens for Ripley today. I'm glad she's feeling better today. It's too bad the heat gets to her since she seems to love to go outside.
