Morning ~O) ~O) These aren't true Maggie numbers, as I'm using the new strips with the old meter. The new strips are greatly improved with wicking up the tiniest spot of blood where before it took a larger sample. I could shoot myself, as I was all set to change to the human meter to be in sync with all of you. When I called ADW to give my comments on the new strips and the higher numbers, they have an offer for all ATrak customers to buy the meter at 1/3 the cost. I will see my Vet early July and will check with him on what he's decided regarding meters. The reason I keep the AT is it's closest to their meter, and he keeps close watch on Maggie's ss weekly by E-mail, for which I'm grateful. He mentioned last time something to the effect of costs with the pet owners. Back to Maggie; she's doing awesome today. She ate all her nighttime fuds, but I also found a little vomit on the carpet. It hasn't affected this morning's appy, so I think the cause is her eating too fast. If there was chatting last night, I didn't hear it, thank you Maggie. :lol: She was playing with her pole mouse toy, as I found it carefully displayed in another part of the living room! Laundry this morning as I couldn't get a machine yesterday afternoon.

Oh no, Maggie says she only calls other cats when Vyktor is sleeping, and also she says they are "just friends" whereas Vyktor is her one and only bf. Mags hopes that gets her off the hook. :-D

Good luck with the meter stuff. Nice that ADW will and has a special going on. Hope that all works out.

Nice on the no chatty kitty last night. Maybe you slept through it? I often do.

Nice to know Abbott will sell you the meter at a 1/3 of the cost because they are sure not cheap! It's also great that your vet is so involved and cares for Maggie's well being:)
Hope her numbers come down a bit and that you have a relaxing Sunday :smile:

Michelle, glad you are getting a laugh from these two sweeties. Yes, hope the meter issue will be resolved, too. I think she will be in the Blue Mannie Group again today.

I get confused with the different meter numbers, but whichever you're using, it looks like pretty blue to me. :-D

Maggie and Vyktor, you two sure look sweet together. :smile:

Well, I gave Mags a break from pokes today but didn't expect a yellow! :o The first time I got a 300 and knew that couldn't be right. So I retested and got a 228 on the AT meter (new strips) and a 174 on the human meter (Relion Confirm). In that case, not so bad with the Relion Confirm. My new AT meter should be here tomorrow. I'll be able to show the Vet the problem with the new strips and old meter and convert him.
 
Hi Ann! Since your vet keeps up with Maggie's spreadsheet, it makes more sense to use the ATrak. What a great vet you have!

Thanks Georgia, I was happy to see Mags come down to the 154! Yes, it is great he's so interested in her and her ss, as when Ifirst met him, he wasn't into home testing, but the other two Vets in his clinic were into home testing, so he got converted.

Barb & Checkers, 'm happy she's remained mostly blue and can stay in Mannie's Blue Group! :-D

Hi Tamara, I think Mags read her condo as she did come down. Mostly a relaxing Sunday for me today.
 
I'm glad you guys had a relaxing day today!!! Good news that the new meter will be coming soon...these definitely don't look like Maggie numbers!

Miss Maggie...you'd better be careful about that flirting! Vyktor is a catch...don't let him get away ;-) !!!
