? 6/17 King AMPS 163, +2 75, +3 54, +10 101, PMPS 88

King, because he had low sugar numbers, stayed 36 hours without insulin. This morning he had 163 and I gave him 1 unit, because he doesn't eat much. It's been 3 days since he started UTI antibiotics and he doesn't eat much. could the antibiotic (baytril) be to blame?

The antibiotic is very likely responsible for the poor appetite. It can make them nauseous. You might want to see if you can get ondansetron or cerenia for nausea. I’m not sure if eitger is available in Greece.

They are both available in Greece.
Ondansetron is under the name Zofron
Cerenia only the injectable form

The other thing that can help his tummy is some probiotics. Give it a couple hours apart from the baytril. Antibiotics can kill the good tummy flora as well as the bad. Human probiotics, if no sugars in them, are fine.
