Thank you, Ella, for the kind words there and for the info on the vial. I realized afterward that I could have just read the sticky, sorry. ;-) I don't know why the insert in the Lantus package tells you to inject air into the vial if you aren't supposed to. Very confusing.

WCR: Buzz seemed disappointed with her breakfast this morning, probably because it was smaller than normal. Per Libby's suggestion yesterday, I'm feeding 1/3 meal at shot time, 1/3 at +1 and 1/3 at +2. I'm done messing around, it's time to make some PROGRESS! I'm sure Buzz's liver has other ideas. :lol:

It's hot, sunny, and humid here, with a high of 98. All next week is forecasted to be in the mid-90s as well. Summer has definitely arrived. Anyone who's still getting cold weather, come visit. :-D

Hi Sarah, Well, it's 55 degrees here and still raining. But your hot weather is supposed to reach us on Saturday or Sunday. I don't generally like hot weather, but right now it sounds pretty good! Buzz has good AMPS this morning and let's hope that your new feeding schedule works. I don't understand why the Lantus instructions say to pump air into the vial, either. Maybe it has to do with the large amounts human diabetics generally have to inject? Stu is looking forward to seeing Buzz at the OTJ party for Jezebel tonight.

It takes a little getting used to. You will get ALL the fuds eventually.

I think you're right. Man, it's always gotta be something. Pokes, or weird food schedules, or new foods, or who knows what. I would call you but my bean would listen to me. Let's just talk at the party tonight, that way I won't have an audience. I'm going to get there early to help Stu out, so maybe you can too and we can powwow before the festivities begin.

Hi Buzz, I think I might wear pink to the party! I'll pick you up early and we'll figure out how to get there. I don't cook very well either (jusst like my momma bean), but I can chop catnip and stir tuna. I hope you don't wear the same color as me - lets clash! Blackie

Buzz! What's up? my bean did that with my fudz too - kept mumbling about how it was time i stopped all this bouncin' and stuff - shessshhhh - she even took my bungees and trampolines. bummer! :shock: Hey - Stu is letting me cook tonight at the party - i am so excited!
