Yesterday's Thread
The hubby took the morning shift with Zen and I was grateful for the ability to sleep in. (Not something that happens often now that Zen has introduced such wonderful structure into our lives.
) Zen's eating, yelling at me for snuggles, being playful and silly, and just generally having a good week. He absolutely hates the ear drops, as expected, but I try to give him space after he gets them so he can forget it happened. 
We called our usual sitter today to see if she's available for us to take a vacation. Fingers crossed she is! She used to be a vet tech and she's one of the only ones we trust with the babes.
My heart's breaking for Mandy and Rex. These are the days where you hold your furry family a little tighter, and remember that, regardless of what happens next, your love for your kitty lights the way for you, even when everything around that light absolutely sucks. Love and hugs for all you kitty parents tonight. <3
