Creeping up there but still not a shootable number. Hmmm day 3 no insulin. He's happy when I am not testing or giving him buprenex...even gave me a forehead cleaning......
He's moved from the bathroom to having access to the ensuite bedroom. He got a peek at the dogs from the door and didn't hisss....they are interested...
Just found out he has front claws..they are so tiny I never felt them...boy whoever trimmed them kept them tiny! I guess if he was as mad as he puts on he would have used them.....

Just loving hearing about Peake, and loving that you got a forehead cleaning! This is a very good sign of adjustment.

Not bad numbers for 3 days without insulin.

Impressive! I'd be curious what Peake's numbers look like at +3 or +4. I wonder if his pancreas kicks in and brings his numbers down during the cycle.

Won't be getting a +3 anytime soon

But not sure I understand the request.....there really is no cycle because there is no insulin? I tested this morn and it was 132, no test tonight cause this morn was full blown growl swat and full mouth open menacing hiss fest. He doesn't know me yet and doesn't trust me. Gave him bupe last night and he got furious....he eats like a champ so no bupe tonight. Vet said if pain would not chow down.....he's overwhelmed....sad I think. Did get another forehead cleaning tonight...
Would you like a bg just at a different time of day? No way I will try few hours apart...I'm afraid of getting bit. He needs more than 12hours between mean torture lady....he's not sure of dh either...
