Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! Hope you all enjoy a great family day celebrating the Dads in your lives. Happy Father's Day to my beloved Mike. What a great Dad he is....to his kids and the kittens!
Sending extra strong healing vines out to all who need them especially Zeus and Topper...both with pancreatitis. Paws crossed they will soon feel much better and Zeus will be home. Eat boys eat!!
Gracie got a good night's sleep last night which she needed after yesterday. She awoke bright and perky and ready to play....and eat. I cut way back on her food portion last night because she had so much to eat yesterday. She ate her +3 meal on the catio and when I went back to get her dish, I didn't see her so I assumed she came in the house....good, because it was starting to get warm already. So I turned off the fan and closed the door. I went to feed Gus and came back to find her for some cuddles. No more than two minutes after I closed the catio door, I walked back into the library to find her, there she was outside on the catio, little brown baby face pasted to the door with a vehement meow which probably for her was not even the sound of a regular cat meow. But I couldn't hear her for the glass but she was adamant!!! So I opened the door thinking she would come barreling inside. But no....she just wanted the door open; she went trotting across the catio and up on her condo. Why you close that door, mama!!!!! Ha...I got her little cobby, plush self down and brought her in. Sulk.
As I wrote last night, I let her depot get ahead of me and had one of those days that make me crazy because I do not like poking her that much. She's soooooo good but the poking and feeding....not good. I can tell her depot is still very much in residence today. Thankfully, she cleared the bounce fast but it's all depot. We'll have to wait several cycles to see if she holds the reduction....I took her down quite a bit for her.
Sundays are always my busiest.....scrubbing LBs, refilling cat pill boxes, washing the fountain, blah blah and I still have to get the back plants watered. We got a tad bit of rain yesterday...just enough to make the dirt stick to everything but it certainly cooled it off
