Happy Friday L&L,

reporting from the bounce site but not complaining about it this time at all - only 1 Pink in a week!:D
Other than that nothing new to report. Just another cycle whatever it turns out to be.

My Dad had surgery done last week and there were complications :nailbiting:, however this morning I received a call from him from home - he does much, much better, was discharged from hospital a few days earlier than was initially planned. The complication resolved itself without any further invasive procedures (anti-jinx x 3).:bighug::D

Have a wonderful and happy day!
:bighug::bighug::bighug:

PS. Day 2 using new devices: Relion Micro+gauge 33 lancets=way to go.

Hi,
sorry for the 911/red flag on Friday night..
I am at the crossroad with Ducia - she is 46 at the pre shot, post DKA and I am not sure what is the best thing to do foe her now...
No food for 2+ hours.
Acts hungry.
We are able to monitor/ plenty supplies..
What would you do?..:confused::nailbiting:

ETA: the 911 will be taken down immediately after I hear something..

Tanya I hope one of the experienced ones catches your post soon but to me 47 is awfully low you can test him in a few minutes to see if he's going up or down but I wouldn't wait too long before giving him some food

It is best to wait until she is over 50 before shooting. Even the most seasoned members do not shoot that low. Either stall without feeding to see if she is rising, or if she does not rise, then feed and wait until the insulin starts wearing off and her numbers rise more than the effect of the meal. The latter can mean you have to delay your shot time quite a bit.

Surf safe Ducia.
